Connecting Concept to Code: Tips for Designer/Developers

Event Interactive 2011
Format Dual
Organizer Ruthie BenDor Unruthless Interactive
Description Are you a front-end developer looking for a deeper understanding of that design you're implementing? Are you a web designer trying to wrap your head around front-end code? If so, this talk is for you. Co-led by a designer and a developer, this session will connect the "why" of design theory with the "how" of front-end implementation in a rapid-fire, back-and-forth format. We'll hit the topics of web typography, colors on screen, webpage visual hierarchy, grid systems, and making the logo bigger. Because everything is bigger in Texas.
