How Do You Build Truly Cross-Platform Apps

Event Interactive 2011

Description There's an app for pretty much everything at the moment. Apple has done a great job of putting mobile applications in to the mass-market limelight, but the iPhone itself only has a tiny share of the global market. Developers want to get their apps in to as many hands as possible but the fragmentation across different OS is a big hurdle in doing this. From Windows, iOS4, Android to J2ME and TV apps, the user experience needs to be seamless no matter what device in order for something to be a success. How do you go about creating apps that are truly cross-platform? Where do you even begin?
