Description:
When web design first became a profession, designers had to do everything from branding to programming. We were expected to know everything. These days people are often more specialized, doing a few things well, and finding others to partner with to do the rest. We will focus on some of the pros and cons of doing everything under the sun versus just having a niche.

I'm looking forward to seeing some discussion on this topic - pertinent to anyone interested in starting their own business, or even just discussing how it all works. With some of the faces due to appear on this panel it's bound not to be a dry discussion, either! According to Brian's blog post (http://begoodnotbad.com/article/sxsw-panel-finding-a-niche-vs-doing-it-all/), Mark Bixby, Scott Boms, Kevin Tamura, and Veerle Pieters will be on the panel as well.
