Why Brazilian musicians get famous abroad when mainstream audiences in brazil have no clue about their music? In an enormous and multicultural country like Brazil, indie musicians have to be even more innovative and disruptive on the way they create and share their music. The social networks and online tools play a fundamental role in this process. The We Music project was conceived to promote the debate about the new Brazilian music. We.Music is an experimental multiplatform initiative that brings 12 Brazilian artists altogether to produce music and discuss new models of distribution and production. All this experiment has been brought to the audience as a 30-minute documentary, a blog and a music album. Get ready to know about the very new landscape of Brazilian music in SXSW!
