Drupal - A Platform Built To Put Content Center Stage

Event Interactive 2010
Format Solo
Organizer Lauren Roth DrupalByDesign
Description The days are long gone when the height of sophistication in serving web content was applying a style sheet to your static HTML. Instead, you could write a web application from scratch, but not have an easy way for your client to log in and change content themselves. Between these two extremes are blogs. Blogs are most effective for a single author with a small amount of content, but do not scale to serve complex taxonomies of content or a staff of writers. Drupal, a Content Management System, is a powerful and flexible solution to the needs of large scale sites. This session discusses how best to leverage Drupal to give content its rightful place on the web - easily editable and center stage.
