Society6 is composed of such a great collective of artists, both emerging and established. I'm looking forward to seeing this organization at SXSW.

if there were a panel to represent new interactive media, art, community patronage and grants, society 6 is the ideal candidate to present the new wave of artists & curators. society 6 would offer potent insight and interaction for the attendees at sxsw about current issues in artistic networking.

Society 6 is my latest obsession and one that is here to stay because the community of artists that is growing there is a perpetual source of inspiration and opportunity for me. In the world of art and design, networking is so important to those who wish to make a living with the art they create. It is also a place where one can find constructive criticism, and of course, the various grants that are available. Society 6 is extremely important and a fantastic source for finding new artists, designers, and an overall view of current trends, styles, and talent in the art world. You need this!
Im Loving Society6! Great artist forum, networking and great interface! My favorite aspect of the site is the ease of photo uploading and resolution, great place to send prospective cliets!

This is such a fantastic thing. It's not simply a place to display work, but a place to make real connections with other artists and even get the chance to receive a grant or exposure AND in a respectable fashion. It's not just another one of those mass quantity stranger networking websites, but a genuinely supportive arena where artists can find what they need to survive! Personally, my work has now been featured on several mainstream blogs and I linked it all back to Society6.
I am thrilled with what Society6 is doing to help artists get the word out about themselves, as well as helping to promote each other. I think this discussion would be fascinating and very timely! I think what they are doing is incredibly unique (the grants, the promotions, etc.), and a panel led by the Society6 guys would be so inspiring!!
