Description:
Radical Idea: All successful companies can be explained in a sentence of conversational English. As technological development goes cross-platform, international and always-on, investment in communication lags behind. Using case studies and your own products, we'll highlight how communicating in good English matters as much as as good rails and javascript.

These are the kind of panels I am looking forward to seeing at SXSW!

Kevin, the idea is interesting. But China mostly doesn't use English in its development and does some wild, very relevant stuff to a gigantic user base.

True Molly. I don't mean to make the idea a study of English triumphalism but rather the importance of discussing technology in clear, plain language, whatever that language may be.

I don't think it matters what language is spoken; it sounds like Kevin is advocating the use of simple language, which is the essence of effective marketing. I think this is a radical idea for many organizations, especially those developing and using technology. Simple doesn't have to mean dumbed down, it merely means accessible. This sounds like a very useful workshop.

Kevin Smokler is an original thinker and a terrific speaker, too. Rarely does one find these two qualities in one person. I look forward to this.
