More and people are realising that Web typography is not an oxymoron, but there's more to it than quotes and dashes. This session will explain and demonstrate core typographic principles with respect to the web, including horizontal rhythm, contrast and proportion.

Attended "Web Typography Sucks" with Richard Rutter and Mark Boulton last year and it was one of my favorites. I would definitely make my way to this panel...even if it was at 10am again after a long night.

Mark Boulton and I will be presenting this presentation (if chosen!) as a follow-up to last year's popular Web Typography Sucks presentation.

"Web Typography Sucks" at SXSW '07 was one of the most useful, interesting panels I atteneded. Richard and Mark were well-prepared, organized, and covered a lot of stuff in a short session. Fantastic session.

One of my favorite panels from last year. This is still one of the most interesting topics by far for anyone in webdesign.

Sadly, I had to leave before last year's panel, but I did view the slides on it. I wont miss this one.

What can I say more? Richard it's brilliant idea! Voted

Fully agreed. Rutter is lucid, witty, and, with Boulton, completely changed my perception of web design. I even ordered the Muller-Brockman after their presentation.

For me, the most influential session last year. I'll be there.
