Richard Rutter , Clearleft.com
Description:
The session will explain why the wireframe should be the lynchpin of modern web design. It will explain why and how design decisions can be made using an interactive prototype; how to simulate the demands of complex ajax interactions in today's web apps and how to test your design decisions up front.

Mark Boulton and I will be presenting this presentation (if chosen!) as a follow-up to last year's popular Web Typography Sucks presentation.

Whoops. Comment added to the wrong panel!

Your Typography Sucks presentation was one of the highlights for me in 07 - If I make it in '08 I'll be front and center.

Rutter and Boulton should be giving training seminars worldwide with this content. They are lucid, funny, and dashingly UK.

NOTES FROM THE PRESENTER: I'll be presenting this session with m'learned colleague James Box. It'll be a two person presentation rather than a panel. We'll cover aspects of how we at Clearleft wireframe and prototype web applications using HTML, CSS and Javascript. We'll talk a bit about how both paper and JQuery can be your friends. There will be plenty of demonstration and real life examples, and we'll even try to cram in a bit about guerilla usability testing.
