Description:
Why is it that bad web design companies can stay in business? Often it is because they know how to sell themselves. This presentation discusses how there is more to web design than producing great work. It covers marketing, advice on creating great proposals and surviving that all-important pitch.

Just a bit of additional information for those who care. This panel will be done by myself and Marcus Lillington by cohost on the Boagworld podcast. We are hoping to keep the feel of the show and so should be quite a lighthearted and yet informative session.

The presentation will help listeners find the right method to promote their services and bring in new leads. It will provide advice on understanding and responding to client requirements. Finally, it will suggest ways of improving presentations to the client and methods to help seal the deal!

Post a comment if you have a question and I will try to answer it.

What would be just great is if we could turn this into the first, and possibly only, audience participatory (is that a word) episode of Boagworld. Your chance to barrack Mr B as much as I do ;-). Marcus.
Good luck!
