Description:
Brands need slack. Every company makes dumb mistakes. The only saving grace is customer forgiveness, slack in the relationship. How to create this slack? Simply be human, not a machine. Connect as you would with friends or peers. Surface your designers. Humanize your writing. Examples, frameworks, recommendations, laughs.

As the web gets more social and people's blips blunders and bloopers get preserved for posterity, slack will only increase in importance.

People and brands that don't fuck up will only be seen as insincere, I'm guessing.

Oh, and Bill, you should give away some push click touch t-shirts -- I bet we could all have a lot of fun with those. Especially if "push" is printed on the back of the shirt.
