Very interesting. I cover Web 2.0 and the digital divide in my panel submission (http://bit.ly/Anjuan2). If we're both selected, I would like to have you on my panel!

I voted no because the Administration is using it as another tool for spinning rather than making themselves more transparent or to interact with us. I tried on the White House facebook page for well over a month to take part in the health care reform discussions he'd invited us to only to discover there was no interaction from any member of his staff. They have repeatedly evaded issues such as Social Security and other agencies that are already known to be broken and instead they just keep posting the same arguments and info that only believe supports their case! Commissioner Michael Astrue, head of the disability division of the SSA, even admitted that the violations of due process in a CBS News investigative report done in Jan. 2008 the White House uses the web 2.0 to create an illusion of helping the disabled by creating a new site, disability.gov, which is nothing more than the same information available on many disability sites with the addition of grants, none of which are targeted at all for disabled individuals to apply for so that we may rebuild our lives.

My own sense is that transparency has been increased. While there's definitely much room for improvement, it's alot better than it was under the previous administration.
