Not sure I actually voted. Didn't see the stars until now. Trying this again.

Most people can look back on life and find someone that they constantly learn new things to fill their mind with. For me Aarron is one of those people, his wealth of knowledge and excitement for what he does continues to amaze me. He goes out of his way to help and is always there to help nudge you a bit further with a few words of advice. I can't think of another person I would love to hear speak. You will take something away from his speech and you will be entertained at the same time. This guy knows his stuff and I admire him a lot, as I am sure you will after hearing him speak.

Aarron is not only a gifted teacher and writer but he's cool. He's knowledgable, entertaining, the best combination of approaching his subject with the seriousness it deserves, but also with a sense of humor. Definitely check out this panel.

Aarron has truly inspired me in my endeavors and I am very thankful I was able to be taught by him. He has really opened my eyes to Web Standards and Accessibility. If I could classify his level of knowledge and unbeatable skills, I would say he is up there with Jeffrey Zeldman and Eric Meyer. I will definitely not miss this book and the many that follow. You will learn from Aarron as I have in the past. "Men give me credit for some genius. All the genius I have lies in this; when I have a subject in hand, I study it profoundly. Day and night it is before me. My mind becomes pervaded with it. Then the effort that I have made is what people are pleased to call the fruit of genius. It is the fruit of labor and thought." - Alexander Hamilton

I've designed and coded tons of websites for countless clients, and every single time there's this voice in my head that goes, "You know, you should probably stop and think about search engine optimization before you launch this thing." But I usually just ignore the voice, or convince myself that SEO is for someone else to handle. Maybe I throw a few META tags on the home page. I suspect a lot of web designers work that way (or I'm the only idiot). Aarron teaches the stuff that web designerds ought to be thinking about while we code our sites. It's not always a compromise. You can do cool stuff *and* be findable too.

Aarron is certainly one of the leading authorities of SEO in the southeast region. His approach focuses on the entire picture of SEO, not just the often confused and over-hyped pieces. I would absolutely attend his presentation, he would really bring a lot to the conference.
