Your vote:

Description:
As 51% of Americans, studies show women also comprise the majority of users online, including bloggers. Yet when it comes to political discourse online, the percentage of women featured barely surpasses the 17% representation in Congress. A rock star panel of women will attack this problem.

Root causes of the problem will be very interesting to explore. Part of the issue may well be that the topic feels like a feminist discussion and not a humanist/diversity one. How can this conversation get a lot of men in the session's audience engaged/participating as well...? Sounds like a very worthwhile endeavor.

Great idea for a panel. There was a similar one at Netroots. You might ask some of the women from that panel to participate.

This sounds like a great lineup. And a topic that should be talked about at a time when political discourse is sliding towards screaming more than debate!

Considering some of the crappy political bloggers out there, let's not focus too much on numbers, but quality. And we sure do have it on the women political blogging community!

Love the line-up! Let me know if you want a FEMALE exec from the industry! I love the angle of being effective from the inside.

This looks great. Hopefully it will lead to a greater awareness of the existing voices out there, and encourage those who have been intimidated to jump in.
