Andrea is an expert in community management and has tons of experience doing it. I bet this would be perfect for the interactive since so few folks have done community management in Web 2.0 and inside of government.

Andrea is a community manager who has years of Enterprise community management experience and can provide the the types of lessons learned companies pay $$$s to know and understand. She's one of the best.

Thank you Amy and Steve, two testimonials from customers and colleagues who would call me out on my crap if needed.

I am a transparent and no-nonsense speaker. I don't believe in PowerPoint, I believe in talking from the app, the site or the process. As you can see I presented this panel as a dual talk with possibly a customer or another Community Manager (Steve Ressler from @GovLoop). It could be extended as a full panel if organizers want to merge thoughts. I also purposed this to speak at a more advanced level. From the 2009 attendance, I felt there were a lacking of real deep dives and hands on in the weeds talk. For such a large audience that SxSW draws, it is a perfectly reasonable setting to conduct this discussion.

As a Community Manager and Project Manager for the Federal Government for the past 15 years, my experience is not just with the Intelligence Community, but with the DoD and NOAA. I will draw on this experience to lead in a robust Q & A session within the time spent as well.

By the way an alternative title, "Nerdherding for Fun and Profit, The Extended Version" - I thought of this title after I had submitted my proposal and I am doing a shortened version at Defrag this November 2009 on my own. As a dual or panel, you will get more than one perspective.

Interesting. I voted for you. I have a similar idea in the form of a panel (http://bit.ly/Anjuan2). If I'm selected, I'll reach out to you as a panel member.

Thank you Anjuan, as I have mentioned to you and others, this is very much also an Enterprise 2.0 talk and I believe if it needs to be merged with other talks for the sake of bringing enterprise 2.0 to a focus, we can do that.

Andrea has been on the front lines of evangelism and community management within the government as long as anyone. And she's the best at it. Please give her a forum at SXSWi to share what she knows; we'll all be better off for it.

Andrea is a compelling speaker - and blogger. She has an avid following on twitter, facebook and govloop.com that would attend any session she leads. I think that just covering a few of the topics listed above would be great, and combined with Ari Herzog's panel government attendees would have some real food for thought on how to not only use but measure web 2.0 / gov 2.0 tools.
