Thumbs Up, lets do this! (Leeerooooooy....)

Seriously though, the presentation looks like it would be very informative and addresses all sides of technology. Possibly combine this panel with the other HTML5 panels that are currently listed... most of which seem negative towards the future of Flash.

This will be an epic nerd fight. This must happen. If it doesn't get put on the docket, then I'll consider my life incomplete.

Well, it seems to me that there is an implication in this questions that everything could be done with web application. You know it would be really very great to know the answers to this questions. The presentation would be very interesting.

debates are going on as to HTML5 could be the end of flash and silverlight, but according to me the time that HTML 5 came was sheer bad timing, its going to totally depended on Internet Explorer, well this platform should bring in more views anyways looking forward to it

I am also of the view that HTML 5 is useless in the short term, while it can be beneficial in the long term, HTML 5 has to wait for the demise of IE browser, On the other hand Java FX makes swing development easier once you know to use the codes correctly .The Adobe Flash/Flex is something thats here to stay on for quite a while
on 15/11/09
i have been using flash and i really like it a lot,its extremely bandwidth efficient compared to the others, adobe has put in a lot of effort in developing Flash player to work under any platform, as the above person has stated the Adobe Flash is here to stay for quite a while

my take is that HTML 5 in the near future could take market share of flash or java , the slow death of IE is also hurting HTML very badly, and secondly it was very late in coming to provide anything disruptive .

I am on the camp that strongly believe that IE is going to really slowdown the adoption rate of HTML 5, there are more app that we have already being supporting and i dont think HTML 5 could really cross them all
