I love this topic! I hope to attend SXSW this year and will definitely attend this panel.

Great idea. I am considering attending SXSW and think this is an important topic. As a woman who's not a mom, I'd be interested in joining the conversation as to how the mom blog movement fits into feminism and the progressive movement.

This is a great topic - overlooked last year by the "picking" committee. Let's get her on this year. She (and her cohorts) bring a wealth of experience and depth to the discussion. I vote yes!

You and Veronica? I'm so there.

These women are GREAT!

Considering that Joanne's blog just got lumped into "stereotypical" mommy blogs, this conversation is much needed. Mom blogging is far beyond baby swag (free or not) but is exploring issues of race, class and equity in our lives. Many of us are having the same conversations, some of us moms just frame our discussion thru our kids.

That was crazy! Since I NEVER write about diapers or potty training, I had to wonder what that person was thinking other than that my blog name has the word "mom" in it! I hope mothers can be a part of this bigger conversation, especially in light of stories today about Istoner discriminating against breast feeding mothers and courts siding with that decision.

I got my vote in just under the wire. Fingers crossed - this is a great topic!

Thanks Donna!

Sounds like it will be a very interactive panel... like the style.
