I know, right? what hell is all this semantic talk?! I'll say what I've said before

I've heard Juan speak and I know he makes all this understandable. I also know that he has the network to put together a great group. Looking forward to this.

We have confirmed Mark Greaves as a potential panelist. He is the Program Manager at Vulcan (the Paul Allen Company) where he invests in semantic web companies (Twine.com, Siri, etc). Formely, he was a program manager at DARPA, where he help fund research for the semantic web.

Quick correction. Mark Greaves does not make investment decisions at Vulcan and Vulcan did not participate in any investment rounds for Siri. Mark is Director of Knowledge Systems for Vulcan, the asset management company of Paul G. Allen. At Vulcan, he oversees a variety of high-impact early stage initiatives in semantic technology and related areas.
