Title:

How To Make A Living As A Blogger

Your vote:

Description:
We keep hearing that bloggers, with their successful followings, web ads, and endless heaps of publicity, still don't make much more than a paper delivery route. Then there's the other 99%, with budding blogs, trying to go from $50 a month to at least something in the four-figures/month. This panel will help push people in the right direction.
Questions
Answered:
  1. How did you make money blogging on the internet, a Herculean feat?
  2. This isn't some bait-and-switch panel where you try to sell us some Matthew Lesko book, is it?
  3. What are some ways blogs bring in revenue?
  4. What types of revenue can be brought in in the first place?
  5. What types of blogs actually do cross over into the "money-earning" category?
  6. Is my blog, which I update monthly, ever going to make money?
  7. Do you have to work for a bigger, already-established website to make money?
  8. Is the only way to make a living doing this through book deals?
  9. Shouldn't we be talking about how to make the internet a better, more effective free speech zone instead of trying to milk it for every last dollar?
  10. Should we sell ads ourselves or go with something like Google Ads?

Can I just say that I saw Matthew Lesko on the highway last week, in a yellow mini with black question marks painted all over it? I drove rather erratically for 2 miles, as my husband tried to take a picture with his Iphone. Pretty sure ML was laughing at us- I do not blame him one bit.

Also, yes on the blog money- where do I sign? :)
