Great idea - folks talk about using social media for networking, but there isn't much discussion about bridging the online & offline worlds aside from going to Tweetups.

I haven't yet figured out how to integrate my digital and carbon-based networks ... or even if I should. This would be a really interesting panel.

I (Aruni - the organizer) am a strong believer in cultivating a network offline and online. However, I think it's the one-on-one, in person contacts that end up having the greatest impact on one's life.

My goal is to line up a panel including people from key social media companies like twitter, LinkedIn, and/or facebook as well as people who have made their living connecting people directly like Peter Strople.

Aruni did a great job last year in organizing a panel. Of everything I attended it was the best put together. It was clear that all her panelists were prepared. She should be chosen again to host a panel as she will make it spectacular!!!

Aruni not only has the technical and industry savvy to rock this panel, she's also got the smarts on putting together a group of people who will communicate solid content.

Makes perfect sense - accentuating the "Social" in what actually IS a more fully, meaningful, interactive media - when so. Duh!

Aruni is a terrific person, she's all over the social network scene around Austin and anything she touches turns to gold.

Aruni is a master of this, if she will share some of her secrets as master online/offline networker, we will all benefit.
