This panel concept is making me hungry! I'm sure we can learn a great deal from these brands.

It's official: Mike Prasad, the social media maven managing the renowned Kogi BBQ's community building, will be part of this panel. Find out more at www.mikeprasad.com and of course follow Kogi at twitter.com/kogibbq. I really can't wait to hear the secret sauce behind how he turned a Korean taco truck into a globally known brand.

Here's how Mike describes his work on LinkedIn: "Mike is responsible for giving Kogi a name, a look, and a twitter. He focuses on building Kogi’s presence, presentation and culture not only on the streets but also online in the social media world utilizing tools like Twitter, Qik, and other coolness."

Every vote here gets Mike a step closer to the stage, and you know everyone at SXSW will benefit from it.

The good news keeps on coming: We'll have the brilliant social marketers behind the Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute in Waco, TX joining the session too. Follow them at twitter.com/drpeppermuseum and you'll also find them on just about any social platform that matters. They also found great ways to turn their physical museum into an experience that people can and do share with others through social media.

Just got confirmation that Naked Pizza will participate as well. I know Naked mostly from their marketing online and offline, many more are fans of their pizza, and they've made a much bigger splash focusing on promoting nutrition - and in the process, trying to change the world.

From their mission statement:
We believe enough is enough: it's time the 3 billion dollar pizza industry rolled up its sleeves and repositioned pizza in the way Americans want to eat. More than ever, consumers want healthy alternatives. We see the nutrition and health wave sweeping the country as an opportunity for our industry - something we call PIZZA 2.0. Those in the pizza industry who do not adapt and evolve with healthier choices will soon be left behind - as they should.

Find out more at nakedpizza.biz and twitter.com/nakedpizza. And of course find out even more in person when you vote for this panel and help it get picked.

Yum! Looking forward to listening to this panel

I hope this panel includes talk of how to integrate social + outdoor advertising - Snickers and their modular messaging was great this year, and their snickers translator for social media was pretty cool. Mobile integration would help these brands connect the dots. Skittles anyone?
