Description:
The web has a tendancy to eliminate time from our life. Online catch up tv and BBC i-Player make it possible to watch something without the restrictions of a schedule. The mobile phone is a time centric device. Phone calls, text messages are time specific events. The differences between web and mobile are many and varied, but what are the challenges, pitfalls and advantages of building a succesful mobile social networking service?

I love this one! It makes a very potent and concise observation on a big issue that's relevant to anyone developing services on mobile. It gets my vote, hope it gets picked :-)

There are some many new axes introduced by mobile devices: location, presence, connections, even activity (in a crude way). Could be a great session, and Priya Prakash has many insights that need more public airing.

Interesting, very. And with time still being time, and I would love to know if Priya has any insights into relative value we place on "schedule-unrestricted" time versus "time-specific events". Hope this gets picked.

Indeed!!! I have been waiting for the wi-max to kick in so I can use my 3Generation Smart Device-3SD and stretch it to the max :) This is a brilliant thought...
