Better than sex doesn't even begin to describe how mindblowing I am behind closed doors and this panel would be!

Sarah hired me to blog at HealthCentral. She's a great leader on the site - always a step ahead, both technologically and with content ideas. She totally keeps me on my toes, keeps me fresh, and keeps me honest. Let's face it, as writers it's not easy to make a living - blogging is a cool way to do it, if you can figure out how to get paid. Sarah's panel should give you a good jump start.

This would be a great panel. Sarah has helped me as a blog writer at HealthCentral. She has lots of good ideas about how to incorporate health information with personal experience to create an on-line community that is helping folks through out the breast cancer community. With the other panelists, she will be able to extend bloggers apply those ideas in other topic areas.

If this panel was choosing the blogger with the craziest diet, then Sarah Park would be the hands down favorite. When Sarah is not preparing Iron Chef meals, she's working diligently on content. Reading her blogs is almost as entertaining as watching her consume an entire pineapple in one sitting; then moving on to the bowl of berries with yogurt and honey. Her fruit feeding frenzies along with her smoked oyster diet rivals that of the greatest hunter gatherer circa 10,000BC. Her drive and focus is unbreakable.

Sarah may eat a lot of pineapple, and she may do it in one sitting (and follow that with lots of other fruit too). I have no knowledge of that. But she also is like a pineapple. Her exterior is rough and spiny, but once you get past it you realize "Oh, this isn't so bad."
on 17/8/08
@Eric Haren and @Tim Johnson I love pineapples. I also love well-structured and humorous discusssions of content quality, brand, audience engagement and niche-i-ness.

This is David from the LA Times -- to add a bit of detail, my blog (Web Scout) follows web entertainment (e.g. YouTube, Hulu, Revision3), social media trends (Digg, Twitter) and everything from Wikipedia to 4chan to censorship in China. Also, being a writer both for print and online, I deal with the old/new media divide every day and it's something I'm totally fascinated with and happy to talk about. This should be a cool panel

Michelle here -- As one of the few people leaving a purely online news site (Huffpo) to return to the dead tree version at the WSJ (albeit partly for their website), I'm happy to talk about my crazy rationale and/or any other media-related issues.

Sarah hired me too, to write for health central. I was impressed from our first interaction by her insight and her wit. I would sit in the front row of ANY panel she put together.

I certainly do want to see this panel.

Five pineapples up for this panel. I've asked around and nobody seems to think my blog is better than sex. Still, learning how to spin blogs into gold is something all of us bloggers need to know. I supervised Sarah when she interned at The Washington Post, and can tell you she's brilliant and funny, not always in that order. Don't miss.

Chris is a terrific speaker. He always makes it worth the trip!

Sarah Park is the closest thing to genius on the planet. She is an inspiration and someone who I want to work with for the rest of my (VERRRRRRRRRRRY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG) life. Her panel, I promise, will be a consciousness changing, and fun experience that is a MUST SEE.

And yep, five pineapples to Sarah!

Perhaps Sarah likes pineapples, but I think she loves chicken wings even more -- based on how quickly I've seen her devour those things. And wings might be a better metaphor for Sarah -- they're small but can come with a kick, and they're so scrumptiously good!
on 22/8/08
Wow is there any question... If I had a dollar for each time Sarah Park blew my mind...I'd have a plethora of dollars... Good Luck... Yes, she does love chicken wings.

Sarah Park is an online shark. No one surfs her way through the blogosphere's dangerous waters like she does. She has loads to share about blogging and vlogging and locking in readers.

I think this is a great idea! Online blogging is such a gray area of monetization that any additional information is always a great thing! Great idea and great person to lead the discussion! Count me in and this definitely gets my vote! Exclamation point!
on 27/8/08
@Anita Grienkard I LOVED you on Project Runway this season and Bravo's approach to engaging audiences across media.

I'm also excited to have Sean McManus, Executive Editor for Big Think, on board for this great Content 2.0 panel.
