  3. What is your level of satisfaction with currently available tools, sites, methods or communities that promote musical collaboration?
  4. How do unsigned artists currently develop a market for their music?
  5. Do you currently promote your music online?
  6. What is your level of satisfaction with currently available tools, sites, methods or communities that promote audience engagement?
  7. Would giving fans the ability to remix your stems (like Radiohead’s NUDE) be useful for engaging them and involving them in your music?
  8. Have you tried or do you currently sell your music?
  9. How would you feel about the prospect of being able to create entirely new genres of music?
  10. How would you like to be in 100 bands at once?

Wow! This looks like a very interesting topic. It seems that the notion of collaborating musically online is a mere inevitabiliy in this web-connected world in which we live. It also seems that such a tool online would lead to the creation and discovery of music that would never have seen the light of day without an avenue for its creators to meet. I would certainly love to hear more about this prospect.

Using the internet as a global music studio. Think of the possibilities for collaboration; limitless. I'm in. Great topic idea!

I think that a lot of unforeseen and very fruitful things are going to happen at the intersection of music, technology and social media. Collaborating online (and hopefully profiting from it) is an obvious step for musicians, but just how, where, and how effectively they do it will remain to be seen. It's a fascinating space and I'd love to hear what the thought leaders have to say.

Interesting - you could make the slogan: "End quintile disparity in the music industry."
