While I'm hoping to talk on this panel, even an exhibitionist and unapologetic cad like me is afraid of how controversial it could get. Then again, it'd be pretty fun to be at next year's version of the Julia Allison gossip panel of 2008.

A likely subtitle, were we allowed one:

"Oversharing is a myth invented by good people to account for the curious attractiveness of others."

And more from the panel proposal:

How is oversharing integral to microcelebrity?
What's the difference between having a life online and microcelebrity?
Can microcelebrities only date each other?
How do you stop the fameball -- accelerating attention and fame -- and
maintain a private life when everyone thinks they know you?
Is sharing your sex life with a fanbase ever worth it?

Totally interesting topic! I'm especially interested in seeing how bloggers deal with dating non-bloggers; people who don't "get it". Does blogging kill your game?

Talking about sex and dating (my own personal life and others) is why I started blogging in the first place. Would love to attend to see how others feel and what repercussions or advantages they've experienced as a result.

I will be live streaming this in the nude.

I have no desire to be microfamous but I have shared plenty of my sex and dating life on the Internet, so I'm looking forward to what everyone has to say. I hope there will be a delineation between a microcelebrity and a fameball as well, as per Melissa's comment. Overshare away.

This would justify my trip to SXSW.

I am far from microfamous, but as a blogger who routinely overshares his sex and dating experiences online with no regret and much aplomb, I would love to see a panel discussion on this topic.

I think that it's slightly strange to discuss your sex life at all, let alone on the internet.

I'd be super into learning from Kris. Dig it!
Yeah, hey, remember when we pitched that panel? I'm still game.
