Like the topic. For all the talk about the importance of Gen Y, it still seems like marketers can't get where they are coming from. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Sounds worth listening to. I know I would love it if I wasn't bombarded by ridiculous ads all day long in areas I couldn't care less about. Not sure if this forum could deliver the change needed, but I'd rather have it and hope for the best, then be without it and continue down an antiquated path.

Rock and Roll! - this is just what the conference needs, hard facts and usable takeaways. Too much fluff out there in SXSW presentations.

The more opinions on Gen Y communications the better. People are only now starting to understand that this generation is the future of their brands.

Too often it seems as if "the good stuff" when it comes to social media marketing is hidden behind agency doors. Would be great to someone who is on the front lines "drop some knowledge". This is a must - i'll be watching this one closely...

This is a challenging but important issue to attack. I'm eager to see what suggestions it has to offer for marketers who are clearly trying too hard to reach out to an audience with which they just don't fully understand how to interact.

thanks for all the comments. Here's a little background info for you: I have over 7 years experience in digital marketing and have spent the last three focusing on social media. I plan to bring a fresh, practical perspective to sxsw with a presentation that keys in on specific social media tactics of the future that will work with Gen Y.
