T3 is confirming additional panelists from IQ Interactive and Big Spaceship.

In addition to providing sample code and a handout of techniques covered during the session, panelists will address a host of questions including: 1. What are some of the barriers and misconceptions with regard to integrating Flash and HTML to create Web experiences? 2. How can you use Flash while maintaining SEO? 3. How can you use SWFObject to embed Flash content? What are the advantages of doing so? 4. How can you use external interfaces in Flash to receive and send data to JavaScript functions? 5. How can you use XML to allow for dynamic content?
on 8/8/08
1. Is it possible to maintain 508(C) accessibility compliance while using Flash?
2. How do you work with databases to send data back and forth through Flash?
3. Is there open source support for Flash ActionScript and what are some resources?

I would like to see how flash can be integrated as part of a page, communicating with other parts to integrate with a whole experience that includes dhtml, xml, and ajax, etc. Basically, let flash do what flash does best without dominating the whole page. Should this be part of the discusion?

In reply to Devin:
That is exactly what we will cover. We will show Flash as the team player that is can be in order to enhance the web experience. This means communicating with javascript and dynamic scripting outside of Flash.

Flash is a great tool and not enough developers know how to use it in the best possible way to reach the widest audience. I would be interested in hearing what these folks have to say, and I am happy to see that this is an advanced topic. I am expecting not only discussion but how-to handouts.
