Description:
Non profit groups struggle with funding and public support issues on a daily basis. Yet many have overcome the odds and made a splash online and offline by using the latest Web technologies -- for pennies on the dollar. This discussion will center around the stories, strategies, triumphs and challenges of innovative non profits with a passion for change and the cajones to rock it out online.

As the spearhead of the Houston branch of NetSquared Ed has tried to bring awareness to non profits and how the tech community can help out. Every meeting is better that the other so I am anxious to see this panel

So often, non profits are scared of being too edgy for fear of possibly insulting some potential donor. It's time they break out. Ed has helped hundreds of non profits push the boundaries to better connect and be relevant. Looking forward to it.

Love this idea. Non-Profits are very near and dear to my heart. I want them to shine as big and as bright as the non-non-profit world. I am so there!

Ed is tuned into the needs of non-profits. Look what he's done for Public Relations Society of America, Save The Center and Only in Houston. Definitely worth attending.

This is a must see for anyone on the board or even a member of a non-profit group. We just switched to Google shooping cart for membership sign-up online and it instantly boostded our membership. I will be there to get tips to help out Art Directors Club of Houston (ADCH.)

Ed is probably the most ethical/technical business man you will meet. People and technology are his priority so let his light shine in.

As a founder of an online non-profit, the points in this session's summary rang true with me. There's a lot of great work being done in this sector and it'd be great to have a broader discussions of the unique opportunities and challenges to the online non-profit.

So many nonprofits need to hear this -- and as the capital city, Austin is an association/nonprofit hot spot. I'll be telling many friends who work in the nonprofit sector about this panel.
