Description:
Skeptics argue that Ruby-on-Rails "can't scale". In this talk, I prove them wrong by demonstrating how cloud computing technologies have changed the game, enabling developers to use the expressiveness of Ruby and Rails to build high-performance applications that scale easily. Will include a case study and live scaling demonstration.

Cloud computing is all the rage and Ruby on Rails is the platform all the programmers love. What a great combination!

cloud computing is a great way to move forward quickly. Will be good to see how one company works with this process.

We just started moving our apps to EC2, It has been a great transition so far. At the moment we are using a mix of RighScale and EC2onrails. This is fine for now, but we are going to need to learn how to scale in the cloud, this seems like the perfect talk.

Cloud computing is an area I know little about, but I do know it is a fast efficient way to produce apps quickly.
Do it today!
