You should start you company in New York City. Why? What makes starting up in NYC better than in San Francisco? This panel will feature prominent members of the New York startup community and will focus on the various aspects of starting up a Web 2.0 company in The Big Apple. (This panel will also be at Web 2.0 Expo NY in Sept '08)

Which New Yorkers would be good for this panel at SXSWi?

This should be great both for the natives, and also those from the rest of the country who may not have been aware that New York has more tech jobs than any other region in the US, and more VCs than any region outside the Valley.

Reminds me of some of the great NYNMA conferences that I had the privilege to be a part of. This is a great forum and an opportunity for us to showcase NY.
