SXSW Interactive 2009

More info: This panel was put together during a discussion among several people from Social Media Club. The Co-Presenters include Chris Heuer from Social Media Club and the Conversation Group, Alex De Carvalho adjunct professor at the University of Miami and the founder of StartPR, an online tracking service for reputation management, blogger relations, and brand monitoring, and Brian Solis, founder of Future Works http://www.future-works.com/, http://briansolis.com/ - the PR.20 blog. Invited panelist is Howard Rheingold - http://www.rheingold.com/ .
We'd like to help people understand the issues around how you, though people say you "can't believe everything you learn online" they often don't give you more information to figure out whether what you've learned is true. This is critical in academia, for marketers and brands, and for teaching children and those coming online for the first time in the next few years.

Look forward for this session! Great topic, and happy to see Alex there.
Alex, great topic. There's a lot to discuss between "you can't believe everything you read online" and "it's true, I saw it on the Internet."

This topic totally underlines how I've established myself even though I work remotely. And people's perception shows itself as expectations by filling my inbox! :)
