Matt is iconic. Stands for what the youngest generation can do for the open web. He would be awesome.

Matt's been building widgets longer than most of us have known what they are. He truly gets their power.

Hi all!
First off, I'd like to thank everyone that has voted for me so far; it means the world to me! Thank you so much!
Ever since I've had internet access, I've loved the idea of web services and applications. I got into building widgets after their huge success in early 2006, and to date I have over thirty widgets (with more than 100,000,000 impressions and 136,000 subscriptions), five websites, and some great ideas that I hope to share at SXSW! Presenting at SXSW would be an amazing experience for me, and hopefully a fun and hugely enjoyable, educational, and enlightening experience for both the panel and the audience!

Hi everyone, I am also on this panel! I am the creator and owner of bunnyhero labs. I happened into the widget world almost by accident, a few years ago, with my customizable, animated virtual pets which now inhabit many thousands of profiles and websites, with millions of impressions daily.

I would be honoured to have the opportunity to share my own experiences and ideas about the past and possible future of widgets and what they mean to users as well as vendors of services, as the web evolves into a more user-controlled and -customizable experience.
