Your vote:
Yes No
Organizer:
Gwen Bell, Self
Description:
Four women, all powerhouses in their fields of women, technology +/or startups, come together to show how we've overcome FAIL, found a way to reach out + learned the power of unplugging (standing our ground + not letting tech take over _every single aspect_ of our lives). We will inspire you.
Questions
Answered:
  1. How can we include + overcome potential failures? (In Kirtsy's case, having to change company w/hundreds of thousands of users)
  2. How do I network with women as the target audience?
  3. I'm an Evangelist for my company, what are some real tools I can use to reach out?
  4. What have you learned from FAIL?
  5. What makes a kick ass Community Developer?
  6. How do I know which tools to use to develop community? Twitter? Plurk? Which are most effective?
  7. How have women-oriented conferences (like Blogher) helped/hurt women (+ men) in the tech sector?
  8. In a constantly-evolving web-universe, what is the definition of community, really?
  9. How do we evangelize our product w/o looking like we're constantly self-promoting?
  10. What fuels us?

5 stars - this panel will be amazing.

I'm with Lijit and am excited to share what I've learned since joining this tech startup almost two years ago. In addition to navigating the worlds of tech evangelism and social media, I've also discovered the importance of spending time offline (GASP!) and how unplugging can help you keep your digital sanity.

Wow. Okay, that line-up is flat-out stellar. Whoa. All that personality and brains on one panel? Are you sure we shouldn't break it into two?! Can we HANDLE it?
