Description:
Remix culture has spawned numerous fights over copyrighted content. But the line between fair use and infringement is often blurry. This panel presents real controversial video clips for the audience to judge. Copyright experts and artists will highlight key ingredients for fair use and survival tips for new media makers.

If any new media makers want to submit their own clips to be judged, I'm happy to consider showcasing those as well.

This really intrigues me. I love the new Girl Talk album but I'm still trying to figure out where it falls legally. I'd like to see this panel cover his work.

Are you going to cover anything other than videos (comic strips, photos, etc)? Very relevant for content producers.

This sounds fun and lively. I expect to be there and may dig up some of my own clips of things that I think are blurry. Yay.

Blurred is an understatement. This will be a hugely watchable panel that will shed some light on the ambiguity, although there will still be some grey areas I´m sure.
