A great topic - possibly my very top pick - and just the guy to do it.

As a forward thinker and charter member of ACT-I-VATE, Dan Goldman is the right guy to aggregate the future form comix will surely take.

No doubt this is where Comics and their distribution need to be very soon. Should be a fascinating panel.

I want to see supah-kool comicbook peoples talk awesome in my ears, and see the legendary Dean Haspiel in his glorious skull shirt, being the only shirt that he owns!

Dan's dedicated and passionate about the promises of the digital revolution and how it applies to comics making a proliferation. I sat in on his New York Comic Con panels, and found him to be an insightful and comprehensive moderator. It would be an asset to SXSW to allow Dan to bring his talent and enthusiasm to bear.

This is a great topic. Especially how all entertainment media is being multi layered to be shared in so many formats. Dan is an engaging and inspiring speaker.

This is probably the best time in the comics history to hear Dan Goldman share the future of comics.

Dan Goldman has his head in the future, he's perfectly suited to bring the noise on what's to come for comics in the coming times!

Dan's been a trailblazer for the last few years, from co-founding ACT-I-VATE, playing with format and structuring stories to take advantage of different mobile platforms, and developing stories that just defy the notion of molds. He's a great pick to lead a panel like this, and I'm sure he'd pull in equally groundbreaking talent.

(If that isn't enough of an endorsement, I'm a broke graduate student, and I'd scrape together the price of SXSWi admission to hear him speak on the subject.)
